This was the first song that we wrote and said "okay -- this song is going on the album.."

We wrote this as a dance/pop song and demoed it out and we would groove on it from time to time, but never acted on it. I took the idea to Jared one day and I was like "hey! what if we composed this song as a rock song? Like an aggressive-ish rock song that we kept poppy enough to jump to?"

The next day he sent over a rough demo of it laid out on real instruments and all of us were like "yup.. that's the one. It's time to write an album"
